To a Shy Guy Dating Often Appears Scary and Terrifying But it Doesn't Have to Be Like That

If you're a shy guy, dating can often seem like something that is not for you and fraught with terror and disappointment, but if you learn and understand a few techniques about how to put yourself and the girl you like at ease, then you stand a much better chance of leaving with her number.

The first thing you should do if you're a shy guy dating is to remember that the more confident you can appear, the more success you will have.  Which I know is easier said than done, but it is vital if you're going  to make it past just staring at a girl across a room.

Decide before you go out how you are going to approach a girl you see and run through the steps you will take in your mind:

• Don't wait too long to approach a girl when you first see her.  Waiting only gives the negative thoughts to come into your mind.  And before you know it you've come up with all kinds of reasons why you shouldn't approach her and once that happens, all chances are gone.  So get in there as soon as you decide you like the look of someone.


• Ask her if you can get her a drink or ask her some general question that she has to answer, so giving you a little bit of time to get your thoughts together.


• Make sure that you make eye contact.  Girls like a man who can make eye contact with them because in terms of body language you are saying to her that you have nothing to hide.  However, don't stare at her without breaking your gaze, because that will not work.  You will freak her out and you will have no success.

For a shy guy, dating really doesn't have to be traumatic.
