How to Initiate Romance With a Stranger You Admire

What would you do if you stepped outside right now saw the man/woman of your dreams?

Would freeze with fear? Or pretend you didn't notice, because s/he might reject you?

Have a contact strategy. Rehearse in your mind any such situation and image several possible ways of making contact.

Why?

You may never get a second opportunity to make a first contact. This contact may or may not lead to other possibilities but you can never know unless you try. Even if this does not turn out to be partner, you can be sure that s/he has a network of other males friend that you can possibly access.

Why practice?

Meeting some who kindle attraction in you can stall your normal routine behaviour and make you look and behave awkward. This does nothing for your image. If you practice constantly like an actor, your subconscious mind will take over and you will not have to stand there trying to think of what to say. What you visualized will kick in.

What to do?

Use the 7 by 3 rule

Any possible suitor who gets between 7 yards of you, make contact within 3 seconds of seeing them. The longer you wait the more your mind will interfere and cripple you with fear. Feel the fear and do it anyway.

Simple ways to make contact

- Smile.

- Greeting "Good morning/evening/afternoon, how are you?"

- Or a simple "Hi"

What are some of the things you can say?

The greatest line there is in the world is "Hi?" with a smile and possibly followed by "how are you?" You can even add, "My name is ______, what's your name?" - Quickly followed by, any number of general statement about yourself and a question e.g. "Can I ask your opinion on something. May you will be able to help me. My friend and I have been debating why girls tend to jerks. As a woman what do you think?"

If he is from out of town give him some info about the best places to visit. What is even better is to invite him to a fun session you and your friend are having. If you don't have one create one and make if happen.

Make the conversation short and concise. After initial banter, simply indicate that s/he seems like an interesting person and it was good meeting him, and you hope to bounce into him/her again, because s/he seems like someone who you like to get to know.

At this point don't worry about collecting phone number or any such thing. Just make a courteous exit. This will indicate that you are not a desperate pushy person. It will also say that you are confident and willing to build organic rapport.

If you find it very difficult to talk to stranger you admire at first, start by talking to children and the elderly. Once your confidence is established you will be very surprised at how easy it will be to talk to potential suitors.
