The nice guy is usually idealistic with the good manners. He's good and perfect and really a girl's guy that he eventually is treated only as a truly good friend who is there in the shadows to lend a shoulder to the crying girl as and when she needs him. He is the one who gets battered at the end of the day.

They're readily available-

The nice guy is readily available and makes no excuses to the girl when he's needed to lend her a handkerchief to blow into and so he loses respect in the girl's eyes as not being the 'hot guy' whom she'd rather chase. The good guy will never let the girl down no matter how busy his schedule.

They're quiet and gullible-

The nice guys always listen to all the raving and ranting a girl resorts to when frustrated with her boyfriend. You'll find them sitting with pathetic look in the eyes wondering just how they can help. They have little to say or suggest, and he bores her to death, but yes, he's a nice guy to have as a friend.

They're not smooth operators-

The nice guys lack the smooth mannerisms that girls get taken in by. They're far too well mannered, disciplined and polished for girls to be attracted to them. They're far too well behaved and prefer to just dream of the girl they'd like to have forever.
