Canceling a First Date With a Woman to Go to a Playoff Game

Imagine for a moment that you find yourself faced with a decision to make in regards to what you will be doing for the night; on the one hand you had already scheduled to go out on a first date with a woman that you met sometime back and in the other you have the opportunity to go to a playoff game with your friends.

The easy answer is to call the woman up and see if you can reschedule for another day, but doing so involves some risk or maybe you tell your friends no and continue with the first date as planned.

In this article, I will discuss the pro's and con's of each choice and why ultimately the best choice for you to make more than likely will be to go to the game with your friends.

Now, that I have already revealed which choice I believe is the best lets first discuss the pros and cons of going out on the date with the woman.

The good news is you kept your commitment and don't have to worry about rescheduling or even letting her know about your opportunity to watch a playoff game live.

The bad news, considering that this is a first date there are no guarantees that she will keep her commitment or for that matter end up being good company.

Also, whether you realize it or not you will have placed a certain amount of invisible pressure on her to actually be better than what you imagine the playoff game to be which means if she isn't an extraordinary women in all the right ways you will spend more time thinking about the game than you actually will on her.

This isn't even taking into consideration the fact that whatever the two of you do decide to do on this first date hopefully doesn't show the game on TV.

Of course, so far all I've really talked about is you so far let's talk about her for a moment.
In your mind, what kind of woman would you want to be with in either the long or short term?

1. The kind of woman that doesn't like sports, doesn't get sports and doesn't want to be with the kind of man that would want to go to a playoff game rather than spend time with her.


2. The kind of woman that would understand that sports and going to playoff games are something that a man likes to do and is okay with you going with your friends in order to do so.

Since you have read this far, odds are you want the second kind of women who will be okay with you going to playoffs game is the kind of woman that you will want.
