Get Chicks to Talk to You

So you've followed all the advice given to you in the men's magazines. You look the part. You act the part. But still, women aren't talking to you? It's time to bring out the big guns.

Now, the thing is...you can be the best-dressed guy in the room, but unless a woman has a reason to talk to you, she's not going to. She may think that you're good looking. She may want to talk to you. But she doesn't have a good opening line. That's what's stopping her.

She needs a good opener. And you have to give it to her.

How can you do this?

Get rid of all your boring clothes. Yes, they may make you look well-groomed, and women do want you to be well-groomed, but they also want something that makes you stand out.

Here are three ways that you can stand out from the crowd:

1. Wear a cool shirt or tie. Don't just walk around in polo shirts every day. Wear a t-shirt that has a funny saying. Wear a tie with an interesting design.

2. Wear cool shoes. Boots, sneakers or wingtips, women notice your shoes. And if you're wearing something unusual, she's sure to take notice.

3. Carry a cool bag. Think men shouldn't carry bags? Think again. Bags can help keep your organized and help you catch a girl.

How does doing these things get women to talk to you? It gives them a good opening line. She's now able to say, "Hey, I like your bag!" or "Where did you get those shoes?"

This is a good way of breaking the ice without having to make the first move. Having something in common (even something as silly as an interest in the same style) breaks down barriers and allows conversation to flow more smoothly. Better still, if it's a woman that you're not interested in, it becomes easier to let her down by simply "assuming" that she's just being friendly.
