Get Out of the Friend Zone With the "Outcome Independence" Technique

So you think that you actually have a shot at getting out of the friend zone with a particular woman. Before you do anything, you need to ask yourself the following questions:

- Do you ignore the possibilities you have with other women because you're "saving yourself for her"?

- Do you call her on the phone and feel rejected if she can't talk or doesn't pick up the phone?

- Do you make plans with her and make a fuss if she cancels on you?

If that's the case, then you are what I would call "attached to the outcome." Obviously, you are after one goal, and that is to get out of the friend zone ASAP. But because you are so attached to the possibility of making her your girlfriend, any other outcome deals a severe blow to you and you lose all forms of composure.

Do you know what outcome dependence smells like? It smells an awful lot like DESPERATION. You need to stop it RIGHT NOW, because it is a main reason that's killing your chances of getting out of the friend zone.

Desperate people are not attractive, and repel other people away. And since women have an amazing ability to read people (they didn't call it "woman's intuition" for nothing) you best believe that she can sense your desperation a mile away.

How Would You Go About Doing This?

One of the most effective ways to kill your desperation is to open yourself up to the possibilities of dating other women. It's okay to like her and want to turn her into your girlfriend, but you can't watch life pass you by while waiting around for that to happen.

Be aware that many women intentionally stand up guys to send them a message, so send a message back. Stand up for yourself and let her know you don't appreciate getting stood up, but play it cool and don't make a fuss. Tell her that she's going to have to make up for it, and don't say anything more about the matter.
