Does He Want a Relationship? Three Things to Look For

Isn't it always hard to tell if a guy wants a relationship or not? Don't you wish you could see clearly and know what the guy wants? Are you tired of reading him one way only to learn he actually meant something completely different? It's not easy, but it's not impossible. There are some subtle signs to look for.

The first thing you want to determine is your place on his list of priorities. While it is unreasonable to think you'd be at the very top of his list, you should be in the top three. Even if his workload is heavy, he should have time to see you, or at least call. Listen to the tone and words he uses when he tells you he can't see you. Is he apologetic? Does he offer an alternative night to see each other? A guy who makes flimsy excuses and is vague about future dates is not really interested in pursuing the relationship.

Another thing to consider is the number of dates he invites you on. If they are scattered and infrequent, he may not be ready and willing to invest much time in getting to know you. Also, where does he take you on these few dates? Some place elegant or fun? Or does he just invite you to his place?

Which leads to the third thing to look out for... Does he not even want to bother to take you out to dinner, but he is quick to take you to bed? If the guy only wants to go to bed with you and nothing else, chances are your relationship will stop at the threshold of his bedroom door. Though you may think the hot and heavy sex is a good sign of a solid future with this man, he's just thinking of the next time he can have a good time with you.

The man who wants a relationship with you will be more patient and understand than that. Knowing you're worth the wait, he won't pressure you, but will take his time to win you. He'll spend the time getting to know you and allow you to get to know and trust him.
