Exciting Activities For a Blind Date

Blind dates can be nerve racking. The hardest part sometimes isn't what you wear or how you look, it's where you go and what you do. You don't want your date to think you are boring or uneducated. You don't want to come on too strong but you do want the chance to mingle and flirt. So where do you go on a blind date? Is it somewhere you can talk a lot or is it a more of a screening date, like a movie and a walk home? A really successful date will include time for talking and time for excitement. Here are three cool ideas for a first time blind date.

1. Try going skating. If it is winter go ice skating, and if it is summer go rollerblading, either way this is a great way to stay physical and converse at the same time. If you're self conscious you may want to practice a bit beforehand. And if your date is feeling uncomfortable make them feel dangerous and confident. Don't let them give up, you want to show them that you're motivated, you like them, and that you really know how to have fun.

2. Go shoot some paintballs around with your date. You can go to those intense courses in the woods where they supply you with targets and paintball guns. It would be nice if you taught your date a little about shooting. As an alternative, you can also go to the fun kind, it's more kid friendly and more date friendly too. Instead of shooting guns you throw paintballs at each other all day. Either way a paintball activity is a super original first date, and a great way to get comfortable with one another right away.

3. Go somewhere neither of you have gone before. Call your date ahead of time and give them some options. Maybe it's the new modern art museum downtown or maybe it's the new ballpark stadium by the university. Whatever you do make sure the place or event interests you both and hopefully it will spark a connection no matter what.

There are plenty of cool ways to impress your blind date. Just make sure the activity is worth while, dinner and a movie is boring. If you really want to leave a lasting impression you will think of something a little risky with an ample amount of room for conversation.
